2 Player Core Set - The Legions of the High King vs the Tribes of the Dark Forest
Generations have passed into antiquity since the war between humankind and Great Forest came to a truce, but as the High King seeks to expand his forest-shrouded domain, the primal forces of the old gods begin to stir.
TACTICS: This core set features two factions well suited to one another. The Legion plays to a balanced offensive/defensive strategy with a diverse set of complementary special abilities. The Tribes play to a heavy offense, exploiting Forest tiles to quickly dominate the map.
Pocket-Tactics is a fast-paced, modular strategy boardgame in which fantasy forces battle for control of a randomly generated hex map. We first introduced Pocket-Tactics as a 3D print-and-play game back in 2012. It's had lots of iterations in the years since and this is the commercial version.

This is the Core Set for the game Pocket Tactics from Ill Gotten Games, consisting of the starters for the Legion of the High King and the Tribes of the Dark Forest factions. The models are available individually, as part of each faction’s starter set, or the two player Core Set.
The starter set for the Legion of the High King consists of 1 Mage, 1 Shield Maiden, 2 Bowmen, 2 Spearmen, 2 Swordsmen, and 3 Conscripts. It also comes with the faction's base tile, the Caer, and 10 other tiles (4 Field, 2 Village, and 4 Hill) and 6 terrain pieces (2 Village and 4 Hill) as well as the rules sheet for the faction.
The starter set for the Tribes of the Dark Forest consists of 1 Cursed Ranger, 1 Druid, 2 Deepwood Juggernaughts, 2 Deepwood Marauders, 2 Forest Witchs, and 3 Deepwood Stalkers. It also comes with the faction's base tile, the Druid Circle, and 10 other tiles (7 Forest and 3 Water) and 7 terrain pieces (7 Forestl) as well as the rules sheet for the faction.
The 2-Player Starter comes with one each of the starter sets for the Legion of the High King and the Tribes of the Dark Forest.
The models are 3D printed in a single piece in resin. Terrain pieces and tiles are 3D printed in a single piece PLA or resin.
